Quick notes. I spent two hours fixing my Multiply site, looking for the perfect base layout. I did find one and I was surprised to see the author was already one of my contacts. Anyway, I'm still not contented with how it looks and all I need is a personalized banner, which I haven't done in a long time! Check it here. Might as well try it out again after I've done reading all three books I've borrowed. During the weekend, I was about to buy a book on HTML codes so I could finally start the website my Mom's been asking me to do (which rewards to 1000 pesos) but I guess it got postponed. Like my haircut, which I've been wanting for two months now! I hate how I look right now! I was actually bummed out after seeing my hair on the mirror when the hairdresser was done doing his "magic" on my hair. My Mom seemed to like it for some reason because she said it won't make my hair go up (?), according to her, but as of now, I've been having fly-aways and it HAS been going up. And those freaking split ends! That was taken during our Math Show, last Thursday. Here's the summary: Quadruplets named from their math-inspired birthmarks, Adi, Divi, Sub, and Tiply, get separated at the age of 6 through their drunkard, selfless father, General Form (played by me). At the age of 20, destiny finds them to bring back the bond of their family. They meet together through work and love, and the 5000-paged (which actually was a Webster's dictionary) journal that their mother, Aresc, has kept for a long time. In the end, secrets reveal, hearts become one (or broken), and their family becomes complete (except for the father). This picture on the right now was during final rehearsals in the podium. I brought four wigs, which I always bring for humor's sake. One is the brown shaggy one, and the rest are black and brown curls. I don't know how to describe what we look there but obviously, it's plain retardedness. Here are some pictures from the show: (The full album is in my Multiply) We all had these corny Math jokes in both breaks in the middle of the show and in thelast part. We even sang a revision of Isang Linggong Pag-Ibig (A Week of Love - a local song),which had its lyrics completely changed to the story of our show. The competition is held by sections and the winner gets a perfect score on a quiz for Math or an additional one point in the final grade on the report card. The winner will be announced on Monday, win or lose, I'll be remembering this always.

I don't know where to start right now. Grr. I told myself days before the weekend that I would not use the computer this day, Saturday, so I could finish reading the books that are on pending mode, and now it's 4:07 pm. The first book is called "The Devil Who Tamed Her" and lol, I was told it was placed in the Teen Fiction section when Anna brought it. When I opened the cover, the colored picture inside is entitled CENSORED. The dude on his back on the couch, and this dudette on the dude. O.O The other book is I don't know. This stupid Cooking homework is stupidifying me! Why are these home works always placed in charts? Why can't we just define them? Grr. Can you give me five common problems in storing and cooking fish? I asked Cassie, my cousin, who are the bands she's seen live, and omg. ok, um here's a quick list. keep in mind that a few of these i've seen more than once or twice =] paramore hellogoodbye from first to last hawthorne heights this providence family force 5 ... Keep your head in the game! I thought yesterday's training would be the usual: suicide rounds of jogging, more practice on my spikes, and a satisfied feeling at the end, but this was surreal. I planned heading straight to Trinoma after class dismisses but I was told that if I did not show up for Friday’s training, I could be kicked off in the team. Anyway, it was also Coach Maui’s birthday that day and we surprised him by entering the gym with balloons and a cake. As his “gift”, he shorten our span of jogging by one court instead of two (One court is in the gym and the other is a basketball court that is found on the field – we jog there through a pathway they built that starts from the gym). We first practiced our spikes and did an exercise that made us dig and set the ball. The latter part was where Coach Mark, who arrived earlier, got really mad at me. What I understood is, you can’t move out of your place after digging the ball but after you set the ball, you are to line up again to give way to the next player. I thought I was following it correctly but my teammates keep pushing me after I dig the ball so they could be next. I gave way because I thought they knew what they were doing. I observed them while it was their turn but didn’t bother to ask questions because they were concentrating. I was dead lost during all my turns and I didn’t do anything right for once. I did what the others do but I was still wrong. When I went out to line up again, Coach Mark shouted, “Chinkie! Karol! (my teammates) Talk to her later or else I might kick her out.” Hearing that, I almost cried but I did not allow myself to be weak. I keep shouting in my mind, WAKE UP!, every time it would my turn but nothing won’t do. The last exercise was receiving heavy spikes and of course, Coach Mark hit the ball with all his might. I was the last to receive and I knew he what he wanted. I got a grip of myself and fortunately, I received the balls properly. My arm pained once from the very strong spike he made, and the other flew all over the gym, but I was happy, I did it properly. After cooling down, we all sat by the corner and had a small talk. Coach made some reviews and for me: “We now have few members for the team because of the results of the grades of some people during the first quarter. You are very fortunate to be here but you have to show and prove to me you deserve your slot.” After that, I promised myself to do better next time and I will keep my head in focus, no matter how awesome the band will be playing on that day. I didn’t get to sleep very well after that, things keep coming to me but at least I still had a smile during the rest of the night. |
preface
Everything I state in this page are words of truth and reality.
I am not a perfect person. I know that I have been given life to see
how the world works and revolves. At this point of my life, I say that
I understand life in ways that move like a roller coaster. That is a fact.
I am Janella and this is how it flows in my world.
